For over three decades, the Wright Family Reunion has been a cherished tradition, a time for us to come together, reconnect, and celebrate the bonds that make us stronger. This year, we’re excited to gather in the nation’s capital—Washington, D.C.—under the theme “Wrighting Our Legacy.” Together, we’ll reflect on our roots, celebrate our heritage, and pass the torch to the next generation to continue building on the foundation of love, unity, and strength that defines our family.
Weekend Highlights
• Thursday (optional): Free day to explore the many FREE activities in D.C.
• Friday: Reunion registration and a warm family fun night to kick off the weekend.
• Saturday: Free time to explore all D.C. and the National Harbor has to offer, followed by an energizing reception starting at 6:30 PM—be prepared to eat good and dance, dance, dance!
• Sunday: Family Worship Service, with an optional brunch afterward for those extending their stay in the city.

This year, our home base is the stunning Gaylord National Resort & Convention Center, located in the vibrant National Harbor. The resort offers luxurious accommodations and is just steps away from a wide array of activities, including shopping, dining, and entertainment options, making it the perfect spot for family fun.

Flying in for the Wright Family Reunion?
The closest airport is Ronald Reagan Washington National Airport (DCA)—just 15 minutes from the Gaylord National Resort. You can also consider Washington Dulles International Airport (IAD) or Baltimore/Washington International Thurgood Marshall Airport (BWI), both about 45–60 minutes away. Uber, Lyft, and local shuttles are readily available from all major airports.
